Blogging is a great way for moms to earn income from home. I blog so I can work from home and spend more time with my daughter.

For me, blogging allows me to travel when I want, work on my own schedule, earn a good income, write about topics I love, and I really enjoy running my blogging business.

I started Making Sense of Cents in 2011 and have made over $5 million from blogging since then. When I started, I never would have imagined it would become one of the best jobs for a stay-at-home mom. I am so grateful for it now, because it all started as a side hustle.

One way to make money blogging (and this is my favorite way) is through affiliate marketing, where you recommend a product and get paid when someone purchases through your link. This is like earning a commission by sharing products that you use and enjoy.

Another way to make money is to put ads on your blog, as your blog gets more visitors you can make money from the ads.

Writing sponsored posts is another option: companies pay you to write about their products or services (best to choose products that you believe in and that fit with the theme of your blog).

Blogging takes time and effort, but it’s also very rewarding – it lets you express your creativity, connect with others, and make money while doing what you love.
